2021 Corporate Holiday Party Ideas

Holiday Party Season is right around the corner! If you're planning a Corporate Holiday Party for your clients or team members, now is the time to get the wheels in motion!

Here are some key elements and cool ideas to make your end-of-the-year party a true celebration for the people who help your business flourish!

Take it Out of the Office

For starters, let's leave the office environment! Going to a corporate party at the office can feel a little bit like just another work day. By choosing an off-site location, you'll automatically get your guests into that party mindset and encourage them to relax and have a good time.

When selecting a venue, go for something with a bit of style and atmosphere! It could be a cool restaurant, a local bar, an arcade, or a rented event venue.

Keep 'em Entertained

For corporate parties, it's usually a good idea to have some activity that creates a built in focus for the event. This way, there is not pressure to make socializing the main event.

Ideas for Corporate Party Entertainment:

  • A live Band can always be fun and encourage dancing

  • Hire a Stand Up Comedian to do a set

  • Think out of the box with a Magician or a Mentalist

  • Plan something interactive like a Wine Tasting

  • Host your party at an Arcade where guests can play old-school games like Air Hockey and Skee ball!

Get creative and have fun with it! Going retro and embracing some nostalgia is always a hit. It doesn't necessarily have to be a stereotypical team-building activity, but anything that guests can connect over and experience together will be memorable.

Take Care of Your Guests

At the end of the day, this is a celebration of your guests. Whether it's your team, your clients, or whomever, you want them to feel appreciated! One of the best ways to do this, is to make this event as stress-free and easy for them as possible:

  • Schedule your event for a time when the next day is not a work day! You don't want guests stressing about having to be in the office on time tomorrow.

  • Consider parking at your venue. Will there be a parking lot available? Is it street parking only? Is there a valet service you can cover for them?

  • Set up an Uber or Lyft code for your guests to use. Even if you are having a dry event, this can help make transportation and parking easier for them. And if you are serving alcohol, it'll encourage safe transit too!

  • Will this be a family friendly event? Or can you set up an area for child care so that parents can fully enjoy the event without having to stress about scheduling outside child-care.

  • Send your guests home with a sweet parting gift! We recommend opting for something useful, wearable, or edible! This could be a custom sugar cookie, branded "Hangover Kit", or something warm for the winter weather like a scarf or wool hat. Don't be afraid to get creative with it.

Really showing your appreciation for your guests can manifest in these little details that make the party as enjoyable as possible!
